Feeling arrives at ordinary volume but Open over-pulls it in, taking affective signal past what the load asks while the attending clamp tightens around feeling. The over-receiving spreads along Open's reach into bodily and relational intake, with Focus extending around the emotional content alongside. Reads as others' emotion taken in as one's own across a porous boundary. Across steady trait-contagion, empathic-overload, and rupture-reactive affect-absorption the grid is the same; what differs is only the lability and self-other diffusion — distinct from the holding-led Embrace fixation, which grips affect already inside, and the attending-led Attunement, which tracks it; here Open pulls the outside in.
