Articulation Collapse Speech Loss
Definition
The faculty that gives thought outward form cannot engage and the mental content it would carry into form has thinned to nothing — no thought to be voiced, and no forming faculty to carry it outward if there were. The Mental column drops as Open, Bond, and Focus lose their ground, while Move closes outward into Emotional and Physical. The interior cannot pass into expression at all, and across aphasic, resigned, and stuporous presentations the structure is held in both directions rather than merely slowed. Distinct from word-finding freeze, where the concept stays intact and only retrieval seizes, by the simultaneous loss of the content itself.
