Articulation Spin Empty Anomia
Definition
Empty speech in anomic and transcortical aphasia — fluent, well-formed output whose content-words have dropped out, producing circumlocution and semantically vacant fillers. The expressive V-row runs as a substitute frame over a content ground whose lexical access has failed. Distinct from Confabulatory Fluency where fabricated content is delivered with conviction; here the speaker registers the gap and circumlocutes around it.
