Articulation Withdrawal Decisional Disengagement
Definition
Merged phenotype — disengagement of decision from expressed commitment. Sub-form A: depressive decisional paralysis, where the conversion of considerations into a stated decision is flatly unpowered. Sub-form B: pathological doubt (folie du doute), where closure is withheld pending unreachable certainty. Both leave decision-material held and the committing-to-form step disengaged. Distinct from Alexithymia which withdraws the labeling of feeling rather than the committing of decisions.
