Belonging Freeze Severed Tie
Definition
Prolonged grief — the relational field stays loud around a lost membership while Bond cannot re-fix on any living tie, the bereavement form the cascade names. After the loss the field keeps pressing in its own right: condolence contact, anniversaries and ritual obligation, and a family reorganising around the absence all continue to demand engagement the holding cannot give. Distinct from Among-Others (others are present; here the tie is gone, the field churns around an absence), Estranged-Contact (no living member to monitor; the thread is severed by loss, not conflict), and Room-Confinement (the pressing field is a household's ongoing demand, not the mourning traffic that gathers around a death).
