Communion Fixation Sacred Grip

cascade-variant.communion-fixation-sacred-gripclinical register

Definition

Meaning arrives at ordinary volume but Bond over-grips a felt sacred state, holding spiritual consolation as a possession rather than receiving it as a passing gift. The over-holding spreads along Bond's reach into thought and relationship, with receiving, attending, and acting tightening around the favored experience. This is a normal contemplative obstacle rather than a disorder. It differs from Vision Fixation because holding, not attention, drives the pattern, and from Communion Flood because Spiritual remains centered. Scrupulosity is excluded: intrusive doubt and certainty-seeking are a different mechanism, not another object of the same grip.
