Communion Freeze Bond Block

cascade-variant.communion-freeze-bond-blockclinical register

Definition

The sacred still pulls and aches, but Bond cannot close around it, so what remains is a communion held open and unreachable. In the deconstruction form the framework itself has genuinely fallen away and the grief is for a bond that will not return in its old shape. In the religious-trauma form the framework largely persists — the theology is intact and still believed — while harm done in its name has frozen the capacity to inhabit it, and the body carries a heavy share of the load. Distinct from Doubt Fretting, where a checking loop actively prevents communion from settling, and from the dark night of the spirit (Spirit Night, in Communion Collapse), where belief endures through dryness as a recognized passage rather than a wound.
