Curiosity Fixation Uncertainty Lock
Definition
Mild-to-moderate intolerance-of-uncertainty presentation where Open-to-mental-content ramps into a fixation pattern — distinct from a full anxiety presentation (which would recruit BM and FE more heavily) and from an obsessional pattern (where the fixated content is intrusion-driven rather than uncertainty-driven). Anchored by the intolerance-of-uncertainty model and IU-scale phenomenology.
