Definition
Intolerance-of-uncertainty closure seeking in which missing usable thought drives recurrent intake: questions, reassurance, and external explanations keep arriving while the person's own thinking remains foggy or unavailable. Open over-recruits interpersonal and somatic reception to scan for certainty, while Focus at Mental remains inhibited because no answer consolidates. Ordinary chronic worry with sustained internal thought would lie outside this M- variant; the structural signature here is external checking over a genuinely depleted Mental ground.
