Embrace Collapse Affect Deactivate
Definition
A possible dismissing-attachment presentation selected only when both the emotional field and the holding response are broadly below range. Attachment research supports deactivating strategies and reduced acknowledgment or expression of attachment-related affect; it does not establish chronic orbitofrontal over-control, somatic disconnection, relational distance, or the complete B-/E- grid in every dismissing presentation. Those additional features must be observed in the case rather than inferred from the attachment classification.
