Definition

Restrictive eating with an interoceptive-deficit signature: body-self bond severed via attentional disengagement and afferent denial. Differs from Shutdown Window (trauma defensive-detachment) by long-developmental etiology (high-risk family cohorts) and from Leaden Body (depressive) by active over-control rather than anergia. Cross-cultural note: non-fat-phobic restrictive eating documented in Hong Kong shows the same body-collapse signature with a different stated motivation; the structural pattern is unchanged.
