Inhabitation Collapse Shutdown Window

Definition

Bodily presence and the capacity to inhabit it both fall below range: the body is there, but holding cannot take up residence in it. In the hypoarousal form the whole system is down — energy, tone, and signal collapse together, often after threat. In the depersonalized form the signal is not so much absent as disowned: the body registers as alien, robotic, watched rather than lived in, and effortful inward monitoring is precisely the stance that sustains the not-mine quality, so trying harder to feel embodied confirms the watching. Distinct from Body Disowned by estrangement rather than active interoceptive refusal under a shape-control drive, and from Leaden Body by the body reading as unreal and unowned rather than heavy and over-corporealized under depressive weight.
