Intimacy Spin Bid Retract

cascade-variant.intimacy-spin-bid-retractclinical register

Definition

A bid-retract cycle fits O+/R- only when rejection cues are over-absorbed and relating is organized around the person's own feared evaluation rather than mutual contact. Shame, avoidance, or desire for connection alone does not establish either pole, and the form need not inhibit every Relational capacity. The distinction from Open-under avoidance lies in excessive cue intake; the distinction from R+ lies in self-focused rather than other-accommodating orientation.
