cascade-variant
Passion Flood Sorrow Surge
Definition
Sorrowful over-release: grief arrives with more force than expression can place, discharging through tearful, wailing surges before each affective wave has landed. Distinguished from Anger Eruption by sorrowful rather than hostile valence, from Euphoric Surge mania by dysphoric loss-bound content rather than expansive mood, and from Craving Discharge by absence of appetitive reward-seeking. The loss-anchored attachment at Bond marks the grieved bond no sibling carries.
