Definition
Body signal keeps arriving at full strength, but the attending beam will not engage to land on it — somatic content is intact and only attention to it is disengaged. The closure moves one step along Focus's reach into feeling and joins two further reaches into Physical as receiving and holding lose their share of grounded tracking. Across attention-diffuse and trauma-detachment presentations the grid is the same; what differs is only whether the detachment is a diffuse drift or a self-sustaining defensive split. Distinct from a full severance of self from body by the partial reach of the change — attentional diffusing predominates while receiving and holding only soften.
