Regard Depletion Relational Fog
Definition
Focused regard intact over an emptied Relational column — the beam holds in tune while no one arrives as someone to read. A content loss of the relational ground, distinct from a failure of the mentalizing faculty itself, where the reading capacity breaks rather than its object. Presents across acute bereavement, compassion fatigue, depressive disengagement, and a chronically thin mentalization substrate. Where compassion fatigue presents here, it is the depleted phase — the relational field has gone empty for attention to track; the demand-saturated phase of the same construct belongs to Regard Saturation.
