Regard Flood Attachment Scanning
Definition
Anxious-preoccupied attachment hypervigilance: the partner is scanned continuously for the smallest sign of withdrawal or coming abandonment. Distinct from Threat Attribution by the absence of threat-coding — the dread is of being left, not harmed; from Overread Others by stable attachment-specific vigilance rather than volatile identity-driven inference; and from Audience Monitoring by tracking the other rather than an observer-image of the self.
