Definition

A threat cue trips a protective shutdown: the body's signal is defensively switched off while the receiving apparatus stays open onto an emptied room. Distinct from crash-recurrence's exertion-driven somatic collapse and from mild-attenuation's slow dimensional thinning — here the emptying is defended and acute, a freeze that numbs sensation and feeling at once, and it lifts only as the system is signalled back to safety rather than rebuilt against load.
