cascade-variant
Sensitivity Flood Catastrophe Spiral
Definition
A panic phenotype where catastrophic misinterpretation of body sensations drives the panic cycle. Distinguishable from HSP by the central role of FM catastrophizing (HSP retains sensory richness without catastrophic appraisal) and from the post-traumatic pattern by absence of trauma-anchored intrusion content. The interoceptive-conditioning and catastrophic-misinterpretation cognitive models anchor the phenotype.
