Sensitivity Freeze Mixed Still

cascade-variant.sensitivity-freeze-mixed-stillclinical register

Definition

Hybrid sympathetic-plus-dorsal partial freeze: distinct from full tonic immobility (Frozen Still) by absence of the discrete motor-paralysis episode and peritraumatic analgesia — the mixed state oscillates between alarm and shutdown rather than locking into a TI episode — and distinct from clean dorsal-vagal collapse (System Shutdown, sensitivity-collapse) by retained sympathetic charge. Polyvagal and defense-cascade neurobiology anchor the construct.
