cascade-variant
Sensitivity Withdrawal Rising Grey
Definition
Subclinical depressive prodrome where mood-driven sensory attenuation narrows the O-row receptive route without yet meeting depression criteria. The pattern is sensory-perceptual dulling that precedes interoceptive blunting, which precedes affective blunting, which precedes mental-content thinning — a row-spreading gradient consistent with the cognitive-triad and reward-prediction depression models, which describe the mechanisms rather than fixing this order.
