Vision Collapse Frame Rupture
Definition
A meaning-frame collapse driven by transgression of deeply held moral beliefs — committed, witnessed, or failed to be prevented — with guilt, shame, loss of trust, and spiritual alienation as the core dimensions, the broken value-frame held in place by self-condemnation so that re-attending to meaning keeps finding the violation. Distinct from occupational burnout (Meaning Burnout) by a broken-frame etiology rather than chronic workload, from acedia (Purpose Torpor) by an event-anchored moral wound rather than practice-internal drift, and from kleshic collapse (Life Clinging) by a moral-emotional rather than death-fear substrate. Repair runs through amends-making and self-compassion that let the wound be answered in action and held in compassionate connection rather than re-judged.
