Vision Freeze Numinous Overwhelm
Definition
Active numinous content with cognitive disorientation: the spiritual-emergency phenotype where genuine spiritual content overwhelms cognitive frame producing disorientation rather than collapse. The spiritual-emergency clinical framework distinguishes this from psychotic disorganization; the transpersonal-psychology frame, the noetic-quality phenomenology, and the classical contemplative-clinical tradition provide additional scaffolding.
