Acuity Depletion
Definition
Focus holds at its ordinary range while Mental is under-active at Acuity. The attending capacity has not broken; what it was built to engage with is sparse. From outside this can read as calm — attention is available, and there is little arriving for it to land on. Where the shortage reaches further it tends to stay with the other ways of working with thought, which meet the same thin supply; that reach is a condition that is present rather than a guarantee, and it says nothing either way about how the rest of the profile is faring. Grounded settling in the body, contact with feeling, and simple physical action are the supports that relieve this pattern — none of them required, and none of them fixing an order of recovery.
