Acuity Saturation
Definition
Focus holds at its ordinary range while Mental is over-active at Acuity. Attention is engaging and tracking accurately; there is simply more thought under that tracking than it can hold at once. The volume runs above a usable range rather than past all reach — an off-center state, not a capacity that has given out. Where the surplus reaches further it tends to stay with the other ways of working with thought: taking the unfamiliar in, holding a line of it together, and putting it into words all meet the same excess. That reach describes a profile that can be present rather than a spread the origin requires, and it settles nothing either way about how the rest of the profile is faring. Heavy outside demand and self-generated idea pressure can each produce it, and neither fixes an order in which attention and volume come back down.
