Belonging Depletion
Definition
Holding stays ready while shared relational ground fails to register. Bond holds at proper setpoint but Relational has thinned so far that available people or groups do not arrive as a mutual field to bind to — the grip is ready and little relational ground can be felt beneath it. What looks from outside like self-sufficiency is, from inside, an emptiness where shared life would ordinarily form. Propagation centers on Relational: the thinning carries through Open, Focus, and Move as well, since each capacity meets the same faint domain content. Most forms stay within Relational; where the depleted ground also carried communal meaning, a limited reach opens into holding at Spiritual and into Emotional as that grieved loss spreads beyond the relational domain. Recovery leans on support — Bond cannot pull the rest back by itself; the spread eases as Relational fills in again.
