Definition
Receiving capacity and the mental ground it would take in fail together. Open narrows away from incoming material and Mental grows sparse and dim, so little thought forms and little opening remains to register what might. The pair leaves the mental interior thinly furnished in both directions. Propagation spreads bilaterally from the failure: Focus, Bond, and Move also lose ground over the thinned domain, while Open's closure reaches feeling, relationship, or bodily input depending on the form the shutdown takes, and in the depressive form attending thins for feeling as well. Only a thinned interior that still tracks its trigger settles as capacity and domain together; a vacancy that has learned to maintain itself gives Open too little to register until partner centers help restore the Mental ground.
