Holding fuses with what it takes in. Bond grips beyond usable range while Emotional content arrives in volumes the edge cannot contain, so feeling is absorbed rather than merely met. Deep and lateral recruitment varies by presentation: Focus, Move, or Open may rise with Emotional, while gripping may spread into Relational, Mental, or Physical content. The pattern joins high affect with over-holding; it does not require every one of those to appear. In individually maintained forms, differentiation and regulation may help the sides settle. When surrounding relationships reinforce merger, change may also require boundaries those relationships can sustain.
