Definition

Feeling runs loud while the capacity to hold will not stay with it. Emotional rises above range while Bond cannot keep contact with a feeling long enough to give it continuity, so affect may churn or discharge without being integrated. Recruitment varies by presentation: Open or Focus may rise with Emotional; holding that cannot settle may pull back from Relational, Spiritual, Physical, or Mental life; and in some forms Move carries the unheld load into emotional or bodily action. As holding becomes more available and affect less overwhelming, secondary spread may ease, but no single reverse path is required.
