Definition

Feeling keeps arriving at an ordinary strength while holding steps out of contact. Emotional remains near center, but Bond does not engage enough to contain or carry what is felt. The capacity may remain intact even while access to it is reduced. The stepping back can spread toward Physical, Mental, or Relational life along Bond's reach, and in some forms it also dulls attending to or expressing feeling. Re-engagement may begin through holding itself or through support elsewhere; no one sequence is required.
