Definition

Holding capacity and the mental ground it would cohere around fail together. Bond engages weakly and Mental falls below usable range — thought is too thin or disorganized to gather into a self, and little holding remains to bind what does form. The pair leaves the mental field depleted in both directions. Propagation can spread bilaterally: Open, Focus, and Move also lose ground over the thinned domain, and Bond's closure may extend into Emotional, Relational, Spiritual, or Physical life according to the presentation. Recovery requires enough holding and mental material to return for a self-story to gather; the wider spread can ease as they do.
