Definition
Sustained receiving at Physical with no Physical content to take in. Open stays fully engaged but the somatic ground it would register is missing, so the receiving capacity keeps working the empty domain itself, scanning and amplifying surrogate signal rather than registering real content — substitution rather than reception. Propagation runs through Physical and outward: Focus and Bond lose ground over the empty domain as those capacities find no body content to engage, and Open extends its substitute work laterally into Emotional where surrogate body signal can be drawn in. Open by itself cannot ease the substitution — Physical has to fill first, and filling it takes support.
