Barred Closeness
Definition
Over-active Bond meets under-active Open. One partner's attachment capacity is past regulation while the other's receptive capacity is narrowed or closed. The state pair places attachment intensity beside limited intake without establishing that closeness was pursued, blocked, or intensified through contact.
