Clarifying

Definition

Clarifying carries Mental from Hazed toward Lucid as represented content becomes intelligible, accessible, coherent, and discriminable again. Existing distinctions, concepts, images, and meanings can be made out without requiring certainty or factual truth. Clarifying does not mean bringing content across a threshold, producing more thoughts, sustaining attention, adopting a stance, making a new representation, or forcing certainty where uncertainty is honest. Those changes belong to other coordinates unless representational intelligibility also changes. Clarifying can coexist with false content; truth, evidence, belief, and conclusion remain separate.
