Definition

Differentiating carries Bond from Fusing toward Connecting as an erased domain-native distinction becomes operative again within the continuing connection. Depending on the domain, the distinction may concern identity, role, ownership, responsibility, agency, boundary, or another relation between the connected relata; merely recognizing it conceptually does not establish that Bond has changed. Differentiating does not require rejection or severance. The distinction it conserves is native to the domain rather than assumed from interpersonal boundaries.
