Effacing

Definition

Effacing carries Relational from Mutual toward Other-centric when self-standing disappears while counterpart-standing remains. Rejecting or erasing oneself as a subject is one form of this loss, locally or as a declared-scope pattern. The self no longer has standing as a subject in the scoped field; loss of agency, need, perspective, authorship, boundary, or claim is evidence only where it expresses that subject-level erasure. Effacing is not care, service, dependence, deference, unequal power, or temporary lower priority while self-standing remains. If counterpart-standing also disappears, the active field and its Relational coordinate have ceased rather than become another field state. Silence or inhibited self-expression belongs to Move unless self-standing itself disappears.
