Definition

For a conversion or parts-based formulation supported in the individual case, intervention at Embrace BE can use psychodynamic work or structured dialogue with internal parts to bring affect into owned experience. Cross-capacity, cross-domain delivery then addresses an affective defense associated with the motor symptom. It does not require every Straining pattern to contain a managerial part or hidden conversion defense.
