trap
Emotional Overloading
Definition
A trap where emotional input keeps arriving through an unbounded receptive channel while felt affect stays flat. Because no feeling becomes distinct enough to mark what matters or what has been integrated, the channel remains open to still more emotional material, and unsorted signal accumulates.
