Affectivity Flood Contagion Mirror
Definition
Affective contagion: both reception and emotional activation run above a useful range, so another's affect crosses in and rises as though it were one's own. Weak self-other regulation commonly accompanies the target; intact cognitive empathy, ownership of the affect, and the absence of broader dysregulation are separate determinations. Traumatic content and chronic exposure are clinical boundaries rather than grid states.
