Identification Collapse Depersonalized Unself
Definition
Depersonalization: the bond to one's own mental life is severed, the self felt as unreal or automaton-like, watched from outside, with no partition into alters. Distinct from self-diffuse (no value-instability; structure intact but unreal), partitioned-self (no alters or amnesia — one unreal self, not many), narrative-loss (mood-independent; the story persists but feels un-owned), and spirit-fragment and mind-spirit-loss (no possession or shen idiom — intrapsychic, not culturally displaced).
