Identification Collapse Self Diffuse
Definition
This variant is reserved for identity diffusion accompanied by independently established Mental depletion or disorganization and under-active holding. Shifting values, roles, or self-representations alone do not meet the threshold, because they may involve plentiful cognition. The chronic presentation distinguishes it from the conditional mood-linked form without treating all identity diffusion as cognitive collapse.
