Definition

Sensorimotor pre-TI defensive freeze with high-tone bracing and global cognitive shutoff: distinct from Attention Decouple dissociative attention-detachment by tension-bracing rather than active-but-decoupled body, and from the tonic-immobility sensitivity-freeze variant by retained pre-collapse muscular activation rather than TI flaccid-with-co-activation. The somatic-experiencing, sensorimotor-psychotherapy, and defence-cascade literatures anchor this as a discrete sensorimotor freeze stage.
