Sensitivity Spin Sensory Amplification
Definition
Somatic-symptom preoccupation with disproportionate body focus and somatosensory amplification. Distinguished from health anxiety (Illness Scanning) by sensory-amplification primacy rather than catastrophic-interpretation primacy: FM cognitive fixation absent, and BP weighted higher (0.85 vs 0.75) because somatic-symptom preoccupation severs the trusting bond to the ordinary body more than health-anxiety does — the body becomes a distrusted distress-object rather than a trusted home, while the illness-identity itself is carried by the over-engaged Open trigger and its affective spillover OE.
