Crowding
Definition
Crowding carries Mental from Lucid toward Storming when represented activity occupies the field so completely that living mental space is lost. Repetition, rumination, racing, accumulation, or rigidity prevents thought and quiet from remaining jointly available. Crowding is not the number, speed, complexity, productivity, or intensity of thoughts alone. It can be quiet and narrow as well as rapid and expansive; the departure begins when mental activity can no longer leave sufficient space around itself.
