Definition

Grounding carries Physical from Overtaken toward Embodied as the scoped bodily or material facet regains containment and proportion within the wider field. Physical participation remains present without governing what else can be experienced or done. Grounding names this structural direction, not generic calming, reduced arousal or load, support contact, or any one technique. Sensory pain, appetite, activity, accumulation, and environmental demand instantiate different Physical subfunctions only when the bodily or material facet itself moves from field takeover to proportion. An exercise called grounding may instead instantiate Arriving when absent Physical participation becomes present.
